Former Lenape High School standout Matt Corda contributed to the Washington Shoremen’s 3-1 victory over the Widener Pride in their NCAA Division III baseball matchup at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28.
The contest, hosted at Athey Park, marked the Shoremen’s first meeting with the Pride this season.
Corda pitched 3.2 innings, allowing three walks and striking out two batters.
The Shoremen are set to face Widener Pride again at Athey Park, with the next game scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 28, at 2 p.m.
