On Friday, April 25, former Cherokee High School standout Emily Lafferty’s current college team, the Shippensburg Raiders, won 5-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Lock Haven Bald Eagles.
The game took place at Robb Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Bald Eagles this season.
The Raiders’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 27 at 1 p.m. at North Campus Field against Kutztown Golden Bears.
