At 3 p.m. Saturday, March 14, the Eastern Eagles—featuring former Cherokee High School standout Blake Weinstein—were edged out 6-5 by the York Spartans in NCAA Division III baseball action.
The matchup was played at The Yard and marked the third time these teams faced off this season. In their earlier contest on Saturday, March 14, the Eagles won 7-1.
Weinstein took the mound for 1.1 innings, tallying two strikeouts.
Eastern’s next game is set for Wednesday, March 18, at 3 p.m. at Bicentennial Park, where they will compete against the Muhlenberg Mules.
