Butler defeats Toledo 11-1 in NCAA baseball; Gavin Gilmore contributes

The Butler Bulldogs earned an 11-1 win over the Toledo Rockets in their NCAA Division I baseball contest Tuesday, March 24, at 3 p.m., with former Rancocas Valley Regional High School standout Gavin Gilmore on the roster.

The matchup was held at Bulldog Park and marked the teams’ first meeting of the season.

Gilmore tallied one hit in three at-bats, scored two runs, drove in two RBIs, drew two walks, struck out once, and left one runner on base.

The Bulldogs are set to play next on Friday, March 27, at Franklin Field versus the Milwaukee Panthers.
