The Butler Bulldogs suffered a 17-10 defeat to the Bellarmine Knights in their NCAA Division I baseball matchup at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10. Former Rancocas Valley Regional High School star Gavin Gilmore, now playing for Butler, went 2-for-4 at the plate with two RBIs and one strikeout.
The contest was held at Knights Field and marked the teams’ first meeting of the season.
Gilmore finished the game with two hits, two runs batted in and one strikeout across four at-bats.
Butler’s upcoming game is slated for Thursday, March 12, at 6:05 p.m. at Eck Stadium, where they will face Wichita State.
