Burlington County is set to host its 6th Annual Restaurant Week from August 3rd to August 9th. The event will feature a variety of local restaurants, taverns, breweries, distilleries, wineries, and food trucks. During this weeklong celebration, participating establishments will offer special menus, discounts, and signature dishes.

The Burlington County Commissioners, along with State Senator Troy Singleton and other local organizations, will support the event by visiting restaurants and promoting them on social media. Commissioner Director Dr. Felicia Hopson initiated the promotion to celebrate the county’s diverse food establishments. “Burlington County is home to many of the best restaurants in the region,” said Hopson. “Each Restaurant Week we reach new diners and show them they don’t need to travel to Philadelphia, New York or Atlantic City for great food and entertainment.”

Commissioner Deputy Director Allison Eckel emphasized the importance of supporting small businesses: “Dining locally during Restaurant Week is a way to support our county’s restaurants and their many employees.” Restaurants can participate at no cost by signing up online.

Senator Singleton highlighted the significance of the event: “Restaurant Week celebrates delicious food but also the impact restaurants have on our local downtowns and communities.” Kristi Howell, president and CEO of the Burlington County Regional Chamber of Commerce, noted its success: “It has become one of the biggest restaurant weeks in a region that includes Philadelphia and Atlantic City.”

A list of participating restaurants and their specials can be found online and will be updated as more businesses join.
