A section of Neck Road in Burlington Township is set to close for approximately 10 weeks due to necessary repairs on County Bridge D3.63 over the Assiscunk Creek. The Burlington County Engineer’s Office has announced that the bridge closure will commence on Tuesday, June 24.

During this period, workers will focus on repairing the concrete structure of the bridge. As a result, Neck Road, also known as County Route 658, will be inaccessible to through traffic between Burlington-Columbus Road (Route 543) and Old York Road (Route 660). Local traffic will still have access to properties within the closure area but will not be able to cross the bridge.

To accommodate the closure, a detour route has been established using Burlington-Columbus Road (Route 543) and Old York Road (Route 660). This route information has been shared with local authorities, schools, and emergency services. Detour signs will be placed along affected roads to guide drivers.
