On Friday, Feb. 21, former Bordentown Regional High School standouts Allison Hoppe and Brianna Fischer’s current college team, the Iona Gaels, lost 5-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UNC Greensboro Spartans.

The game took place at UNCG Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Spartans this season.

The Gaels’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12 at 2 p.m. at Red Storm Field against St. John’s Red Storm.
