On April 23, 2025, Kim experienced dismay at the ongoing issues of antisemitism and hate within the nation. He emphasized the impact of this on “people, families, communities’ pain and fear.” Kim urged continued efforts to “combat antisemitism and hate”.
In another tweet posted on April 23, 2025, Kim shared his appreciation for participation in a town hall meeting at Cherry Hill East. As an alumnus, he described the event as “a special moment” with over 350 attendees, expressing gratitude to those present.
Later that day, Kim addressed economic concerns via a tweet regarding rising living costs and emphasized the importance of programs like LIHEAP. He noted, “No one should have to worry about affording their utility bill or being able to put food on the table,” while acknowledging Representative LaMonica’s efforts in safeguarding crucial support for families in New Jersey.
Andy Kim has served in the U.S. Congress, representing New Jersey’s 3rd District, since 2019, succeeding Tom MacArthur. Born in Boston in 1982 and currently residing in Moorestown, Kim is an alumnus of the University of Chicago and Deep Springs College.
